MVPL's First Ever Hockey 5's Event!

Boys Teams

This tournament features 5 boys teams. We welcome players from Van Island, Metro Vancouver, Quebec and San Jose!

Girls Teams

This tournament features 2 sets of fun teams! First off, UBC women have 2 of their own teams as well as 3 mixed teams with players from 7 different Metro Vancouver clubs! Wow!

Hockey 5's

MVPL ran a traditional club tournament for Easter 2023. This year we are trying Hockey 5's! This format is gaining popularity at the FIH level. The recent Hockey 5's World Cup was hosted in Oman! Super cool!!

Community Collab

MVPL loves connecting with community members. We don't have our own club members and rely on existing clubs to support. Big thanks to VWFHC for supporting with their Hockey 5's wood boards!

MVPL is proud to host our 2nd annual Easter Classic! New format with a set age group of U23 Men & Women with individual registration. This is the same model that we ran for our Back to School Super Series in September, 2023.

Back to School Super Series

U18 Boys from across Canada and USA

MVPL's first ever U18 Boys Tournament Series. All 4 MVPL team names + bonus Team Osaka compete in a 5 team tournament Labour Day Weekend September 1st to 4th. The 5 teams are composed of athletes from BC, AB, ON, QC and 8 players from San Jose. MVPL will be hosting two professional development sessions for the boys too. One Nutrition lead session by Sandra Millward and one Mental Performance session by Poonam Sandhu!

Back to School Super Series!

The MVPL team is proud to host 4 original MVPL team names just like in our Spring Series 22 & 23 seasons. We have Team John Garnham, Team Pandit, Team Warren & Team Rutledge. Due to high interest in players from across Canada and the USA we have partnered with one of our team sponsors to create Team Osaka. We wish the teams the best of luck during their time in Surrey, British Columbia!

MVPL Easter Classic

Saturday, April 8th to Sunday, 10th 2023

MVPL is hosting their first ever Women's tournament. Both traditional club teams and individual entries were open to sign up for this years Easter Tournament. 4 clubs teams will participate on Easter Long Weekend that include India FHC, Hawks FHC, Sea to Sky FHC, UBC & Polar Bears FHC!
